The Arena Group has begun the installation of a temporary building in Londonderry, UK City of Culture 2013.

The company’s 40m by 75m TFS structure will become the primary venue for a series of high profile cultural events in the city throughout the year.

“We have had tremendous success in the past when using our TFS as a semi-permanent venue, such as the tenure as the Wembley Arena Pavilion and Malta Fairs and Convention Centre, which has been in use for five years now,” Arena Structures and Seating managing director, Grahame Muir, said.

“The structure delivers the feel of a permanent facility but offers versatility and functionality for longer term temporary installations such as [Londonderry].”
