Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke’s side project, Atoms For Peace, will headline the Melt! Festival, which takes place from 19 to 21 July in Ferropolis, Germany.
The five-piece band comprises Yorke, Nigel Godrich, Joey Waronker, Mauro Refosco and Red Hot Chili Pepper’s bass player, Flea.
It’s an ongoing and open ended project,” the singer said. “Where it leads, I know not for certain, which is what is nice about it.”
The Knife, Mercury Award winners Alt-J, James Blake, New York-based rapper Azealia Banks, Solomun, Churches, Disclosure, Jamie Jones and Flying Lotus are among more than 60 other acts on the Melt! bill.
