Racing drivers Andy Rouse (pictured) and John Fitzpatrick will attend this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Rouse, who won four British Touring Car Championship crowns between 1975 and 1985, will be reunited with the ICS-liveried Rover SD1 – a lucky car for him, as he won his third BTCC title in it. He will drive it during Goodwood’s Hillclimb, 30 years after he last put his foot to the pedal.

Fitzpatrick, still the youngest winner of the BTCC title ever, will race the Hillclimb in the Miller-liveried Porsche 935 ‘JLP-4’ to raise money and awareness for the John Paul Jr vs Huntingdon’s Disease foundation.

Rouse and Fitzpatrick are the latest confirmed drivers attending Festival of Speed this year. Ex-Formula 1 drivers Emerson Fittipaldi and John Surtees, NASCAR driver Richard Petty, rally driver Sebastien Loeb and Grand Prix motorcycle racers Giacomo Agostini and Freddie Spencer will also race at the event.

Goodwood Festival of Speed 2014 takes place on 26-29 June.
