Central Hall Westminster has appointed White Light as its new production service partner following a competitive tender.

The new contract will commence on 1 July 2015, following a three-month transition period.

White Light provides lighting, sound, and video, providing hire, sales, installation, and technical service for the entertainment and presentation industries.

They were tasked in 2014 with the delivery of presentation-ready lighting, rigging and power for the NATO Summit Wales, covering meeting rooms, media areas, and conference dinners. The company will also invest in new AV and lighting equipment, to be permanently installed in Central Hall’s rooms. The partnership will span across all events at the venue, including concerts, corporate, and private events.

“This is an exciting new chapter for us at Central Hall. We pride ourselves on delivering first class events with excellent customer service and our new partnership with White Light will continue to cement our commitment to quality,” Paul Southern, managing director at Central Hall Westminster, said.  “We hope that with permanent equipment installed in many rooms the cost to our clients will be reduced and the quality improved – a great result all round.”

White Light will be delivering all elements of technical production, with three members of staff on-site full-time.

Richard Wilson, director at White Light, added:  “We are very excited to partner with the Central Hall Westminster team to make the venue shine. This unique agreement will ensure the best technical solutions for clients and their guests as well as supporting the development of the venue long term.”
