Clydesdale Bank has signed up as the official banking partner for The Hydro and Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC).

“With more than 2m people expected to attend the complex each year, this partnership will provide an opportunity to demonstrate our care and support for local communities and businesses in Glasgow, as well as across Scotland,” Helen Page, chief marketing officer for Clydesdale Bank, said.

“The Hydro is estimated to contribute £131m annually to the economy and we’re delighted to be associated with a venue which will have such a huge impact on the future prosperity and economic growth of the whole region.”

The Hydro, which opens in September, will be the largest purpose-built indoor arena in Scotland and predictions suggest one of the top five busiest in the world.
