Audio visual and IT rental company DB Systems will deliver communications services and AV equipment as part of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Event Management Framework.

DB partnered with creative communications agency Bray Leino to win the contract – estimated to be worth £50m over four years.

The Event Management Framework – an EU-approved competitive tendering procurement process – is available to UK organisations in the public sector to source suppliers, including central government, local government, health, education, emergency services, defence, and not-for-profit organisations.

“Achieving a place on the CCS Event Management Framework involved extensive evaluation and competitive benchmarking of suppliers,” said DB Systems’ sales and marketing director Oliver Richardson. “So our appointment is a clear demonstration of our commitment to delivering value and our ability to deliver.”

DB will also provide connectivity support to a wide range of public sector contracts, from small meetings to large outdoor events.

“We’re really looking forward to providing our services and support on a diverse range of projects across the public sector,” Richardson added.
