drpdigital hosted its second interactive open day for 30 students from Worcester University, on the 1 February 2018 at the company’s Worcestershire HQ.

The students who attended are studying a course in advanced website development. The open day was created to help showcase to students nearing the end of their degree what it would be like working in a digital agency.

The students were taken on a tour of drp HQ, followed by several interactive sessions presented by the drpteam.

drp have had a longstanding relationship with Worcester University for a number of years, of which several members of the drpteam have graduated from, as well as providing opportunities for skilled students who would like to join the company in the future.

Worcester University associate lecturer Sean Preston commented: “This is the second year we’ve been welcomed to drp and our students always come away from the visit with a greater passion and insight for the digital industry.

“I would like to thank Ben Wallace and the drpteam for their continued support, and for providing a highly valuable experience for our students. We look forward to continuing this relationship for many years to come.”

Ben Wallace, director of drpdigital, added: “The Worcester University day proved to be an astounding success last year, so it was only right we carried this on. To see and hear from people who have recently been in their shoes and to be provided with valuable advice is a great experience for the students, and is something myself and the team are extremely proud of.

“We look forward to carrying this on in 2019 and even further.”
