e2B, a division of Global Infusion Group, has provided logistics and branding for Red Bull Air Race World Championship.

Around 42,000 spectators attended the event, which was staged at Ascot Racecourse over two days (16-17 August), as 12 world renowned pilots gave a demonstration of high-speed, low altitude flying with defending champion Paul Bonhomme from the UK winning the fifth leg of the eight race series.

The pilots, flying just a few metres above the green rolling landscape, had to navigate around trees and other obstacles such as shrubs and ponds, as well as Air Gates as they zipped through the track at speeds of nearly 370 km/h.

e2B has a long-standing relationship with Red Bull, who has been a client since launching in the UK 19 years ago. It now provides support for around 1,500 events each year for Red Bull at global promotional functions.

At Ascot, e2B’s team managed placement of all Red Bull branded assets across the racecourse ensuring all branding was correctly installed and visible to spectators and the global TV audience.

e2B managed Red Bull stock throughout the site to make sure bars in the numerous hospitality areas around the course were fully stocked at all times.

The company also supplied equipment including bars, DJ Consoles, fridges, marquees, seating, bespoke branded equipment, AV and signage.

Services supplied to Red Bull included event logistics, live event support, transportation, chilled areas to keep stock, experienced events staff and management of the full installation process and de-rig.

It took e2B five days to help transform the racecourse ahead of the two-day event, and two days to return the Racecourse in pristine condition.

The next race of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship will be held on September 6-7 in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas in the United States.
