The world’s premier cyclists aren’t the only ones gearing up for the Tour de France Grand Départ.

Eve Trakway, the temporary access systems supplier, will be front and centre throughout the Grand Départ’s three UK stages – from Leeds to Harrogate, York to Sheffield, and Cambridge to London.

Eve will provide 140km of barriers to keep cyclists and fans safe. The company has experience supplying to high-stakes cycling races – they worked on both the London 2012 Olympic road races and the 2007 Tour de France Grand Départ through London.

“Our teams are well versed in top tier cycling events,” said Mark Fisher, senior account manager at Eve. “We’re really looking forward to it.”

The Grand Départ, which starts on 5 July, will pass through Yorkshire on its way to a finish on the Mall in London on 7 July.
