Event caterers Food by Dish have won a supplier contract for the Eventim Apollo venue in London.

The contract will run until September 2016, and see the company service events ranging from award dinners to receptions for anything between 720 to 3,600 guests.

The news comes as the Hammersmith live entertainment venue launches events for the first time.

A period of extensive investment a couple of years ago at the Grade II listed venue restored it to its former art deco glory.

Hannah Flood, sales and marketing director at Food by Dish said: “After a strong start to the year, we are delighted to be added to the accredited list of caterers at the Eventim Apollo.

“Helping the team launch events for the first time is a really exciting opportunity, with our extensive experience in event catering, we’re looking forward to developing menus and achieving the same high-quality standards that guests have come to expect from the venue.”

Heiko Kacimi-Alaoui, deputy general manager at Eventim Apollo added: “Following the refurbishment in 2013 we decided to invest in a state-of-the-art flat floor structure making the space suitable for anything from seated gala dinners to exhibitions and much more.

“With Food by Dish on our side we are confident to have found the right catering partner. With so many events already taking place at the Apollo it is imperative to have a knowledgeable and flexible partner. There’s no doubt that Dish will be a huge support on our way into corporate events, while supplementing the unique cultural heritage the venue has.”

This year has also seen Food by Dish win a new supplier contract at the Science Museum, while they continue to cater for venues in the capital including the Natural History Museum, Banqueting House and Tobacco Dock London.
