Festival No.6 confirms broadcast partner

Broadwick Live, the creative team behind Festival No.6, has confirmed Sky Arts as its official broadcast partner for this year’s festival. The bespoke event of music, arts, culture and gastronomy takes place over the weekend of the 7-10 September in Portmeirion, Wales.

Luke Huxham, Festival organiser, said: “Sky Arts is a great alignment for our brand and we’re delighted to partner with them for this year’s event. Being able to reach out to a global audience that wouldn’t normally be able to experience Festival No.6 first hand, is really exciting.”

Festival No.6 2017 features headline acts The Flaming Lips, Bloc Party and Mogwai. Other performers on the bill include Laura Mvula, Kate Tempest, Irvine Welsh, Goldie & Mary Ann Hobbs, Maxine Peake and many more.

Barbara Lee, commissing editor for Sky Arts, said: “Festival No.6 is a fantastic finale to the UK’s festival season, and by capturing all the highlights on and off the stage, Sky Arts will offer music fans the opportunity to watch the music they love, without actually having to be at the event.”

Sky Arts will broadcast highlights of the festival produced by CC Lab in a 90-minute show scheduled at 9pm on 8 October.
