Optikinetics, one of the longest serving lighting companies in the entertainment business, has been sold.

Rob Stitcher, pictured middle, acquired the business from Phil Brunker (right) and Neil Rice (left), who founded Opti in 1970. Both will continue as consultants to ensure a smooth transition and customer continuity.

“I am delighted we have found Rob, whose experience in business management will, I’m sure, re-energise and re-focus our future,” Rice said.

“The recent introduction of LED projectors has revitalised that side of our business while Trilite continues to be the de facto brand in the exhibition sector.”
