Ticketing provider, Gigantic, are set to offer an solution for Nottingham City Council in relation with the Dinosaurs of China exhibition, taking place at Wollaton Hall during 1 July– 29 October.

Featuring some of the largest dinosaur skeletons in existence, it’s one of the biggest exhibitions ever staged in the city and looks sets to be a roaring success with families, children and dinosaur enthusiasts.

By managing all aspects of customer service, formulating a ticketing structure and creating a bespoke entry system to control on site access, Gigantic has taken away pressures from the local authority, enabling them to concentrate solely on the event delivery.

“In the curation and development of the Dinosaurs of China exhibition as a standalone UK exhibition there were many challenges, however I’m pleased to say that ticketing was not one of them,” said Nigel Hawkins, head of culture, heritage and libraries, Nottingham City Council. “As an existing ticketing provider to Nottingham City Council across a number of shows, we worked with Gigantic from the outset to create a white label ticketing solution for the event.”

Gigantic also works alongside events such as Tramlines Festival in Sheffield, Rock City and Splendour Festival.

Simon Carpenter, business development, Gigantic, commented: “The sheer volume of time slots and dates for the Dinosaurs of China provided a challenge, however we were able to create an innovative solution to ensure the best possible visitor experience.“
