GL events has extended its current partnership with Lancashire County Cricket Club for a further three years.

The seating supplier increases the capacity grounds at LCCC up to 5,588 seats each year, and will continue to do so until 2019.

The LCCC’s partnership with GL events began in 2014, with the companies working together to create events with seating grandstands, platforms for disabled spectators, extended ground capacity and additional infrastructure for closer access to facilities.

“We like working with GL events, the product is the best around and we have got to know the team there really well,” said Anthony Mundy, operations director at Lancashire County Cricket Club. “They have excellent project managers and delivery teams who know our ground well, are organised and agile enough to meet the needs of the Club and our fans. We’re looking forward to working with them for the next few years at least.”

This latest partnership deal is one in a series of contracts that GL events have secured. They continue to deliver solutions for Aegon Tennis, Royal Ascot, Donnington Race Circuit and the Royal International Air Tattoo.

Scott Jameson, managing director at GL events commented: “This is another great partnership for us and one that we’re exceptionally proud to have. It’s testament to the team we have delivering at Lancashire County Cricket Club and the excellent relationships we have there. They are a Club that clearly wants the very best for their spectators and we’re delighted to support them.”
