The Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza in Playa D’en Bossa will host the 7th International Music Summit (IMS) for the first time, on 21-23 May 2014.

The summit, which will be the five-star hotel’s first major event after it opens on 18 May, will bring together electronic music’s most important and influential figures.

The event will feature debates and seminars. Representatives will reveal new music, strategies, and apps, and create the summit’s own anthem while showcasing break-through artists.

“IMS was created so people can debate and be inspired about the future of a technology-driven genre of music, so inevitably our host venue needs to move with the times also,” said IMS partner Ben Turner.

“This is a major opportunity for us to create a new home as we expand with the genre and with the ambitions of our delegates. We are impressed with the work of the Hard Rock group and feel we are in good hands. The irony of the history and name of the hotel is not lost on us – this is a true reflection of how our music is seeping into mainstream culture worldwide and continuing to break down barriers of entry.”
