Hawthorn fights breast cancer with Walk The Walk SunWalk

Walk The Walk, the international breast cancer charity, holds its SunWalk and family day in London this weekend on 6 July.

Participants of all ages will raise money for the charity in a 5km, 10km, and half marathon, while live music, hog roasts and other activities – including a big wheel, carousel, pirate theatre, animal shows, a petting area and bouncy slides – entertains the crowd.

Technical production company Hawthorn will deliver the full technical production for the SunWalk. Hawthorn will provide staging, sound, lighting and site power to all structures on-site – as well as an outdoor video wall with a 3-camera mix.

“The SunWalk is a great opportunity for families to come together and enjoy some outdoor exercise and fun, as well as raise money for a deserving cause,” said Hawthorn’s Robert Szabo.

Walk The Walk’s SunWalk takes place at Battersea Park in London. The charity has raised more than £83 million to date for vital breast cancer causes.
