Access All AreasHawthorn has been selected for the 15th consecutive year to deliver full technical production on breast cancer charity Walk the Walk’s UK Moonwalk events.
A total of 18,000 participants and guests will gather for two events – at Clapham Common, London on 16 May and at Inverleith Park, Edinburgh, on 13 June.
Hawthorn will provide all staging, site lighting, power, and video distribution for marquees around the two sites, which will include fitting the electrics in the kitchen to feed 15,000 people.
A De Boer-built 140m x 60m structure will be the focus of the London Moonwalk, while a scaled-down version will mark the start and finish lines in Edinburgh. Both sites will house stage structures with lighting rigs, camera rigs and platforms, sound and video walls, floodlighting infrastructures, and temporary lighting points.
