Holi One Colour Festival set to expand across multiple UK locations

The organiser of Holi One Colour Festival has announced that the event will expand across 17 locations throughout the UK, commencing in June 2014.

The event was held for the first time in the UK on 3-4 August at London’s Battersea Power Station and on 24 August at Heaton Park in Manchester.

Last year, the festivals were attended by 100,000 people worldwide and took place across countries including South Africa and Germany.

The event sees people dress in white and cover each other with brightly coloured powder, on the hour, every hour, while being entertained by some of the best local and international DJs.

In 2014 the festival will take place in locations including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Bristol, Nottingham, Isle of Wight, Newcastle, Sheffield and Dublin.

“We’re so excited to bring Holi One to more locations in the UK after holding successful events earlier this year. We had amazing experiences in London and Manchester and the reception was overwhelming,” said CEO and founder of Holi One Colour Festivals Stephan Dau.
