Access All AreasHSL, a UK-based lighting and visuals hire company, helped create a lighting installation at the Grade II-listed Emley Moor Mast in West Yorkshire.
The interactive installation – titled ‘Control t’force’ – was commissioned for the five-day grand finale of the 2014 Yorkshire Festival, and designed by James Brawn.
Control t’force also celebrated the start of the 2014 Grand Depart for the Tour de France, which started on 5 July in Yorkshire.
HSL supplied the equipment for the installation, providing searchlights, LED floods, LED battens, Luminex switchers, Ethernet converters, and a 350m run of bespoke Armourflex fibre cable.
“We were really excited to be involved and to help James realise such a stunning and inventive idea that made history as the first time the tower has ever been fully lit,” said HSL’s Simon Stuart.
Accompanied by the hashtag #lightthemast, Control t’force attracted thousands of people flocking to witness and participate in the interactive event.
