The O2 relaunched its outdoor terrace space last night with a themed #IbizaDocks event.

Around 200 guests mingled in the 700-capacity venue, which underwent significant refurbishment to become The O2’s only standalone super-club.

Though the rain put a slight damper on the evening, guests were kept dry even on the terrace, which was covered by a stretch tent from Palmers Tents.

“We wanted to create a desirable outdoor space for guests to enjoy and on a sunny day the terrace really does feel like you’re somewhere like Ibiza,” Becci Thomson, business development manager at The O2, said.

“The terrace is a great space for summer events and is particularly flexible, meaning we can cater for smaller summer parties of 200 to larger 700-capacity events. We also have the ability to bring everything inside, too, with space for up to 3,000 guests inside Building Six.”

Guests sipped cocktails out of jam jars, provided by Peppermint Bars and enjoyed a Light Motif-designed street food avenue. Luma provided a graffiti wall inside the venue, while Yr Designer let guests print their own t-shirts and tote bags.

“We’re thrilled with the successful relaunch of the outdoor terrace space at Building Six,” Thomson added.
