Lucie Hone (pictured) has been appointed as operations manager of the International Special Events Society (ISES) UK Chapter, taking over the position vacated by Toni Griggs last month.

Previously production co-ordinator at Tony Ball Associates and at George P Johnson, Hone has worked within the events industry over the past four years at leading agencies.

Hone will be the only full-time employee of ISES UK and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of membership and event activities of the UK Chapter. She will also work closely with the ISES EMEA Affiliate Chair to facilitate cross chapter strategies.

“This is an exciting challenge and one that I’m looking forward to,” she said. “ISES takes an innovative approach to delivering events and that is something I really admire. I’m eager to put my stamp on the UK Chapter and look forward to building relationships with our ever growing membership, while continuing to drive the association forward as the leading creative events association.”

Jane Hague, ISES UK president said: “We’re delighted to welcome Lucie on board. She joins with a lot of hands-on experience and enthusiasm and I’m looking forward to working with her to continue delivering a strong programme of educational events to our members and the wider industry.”
