The Isle Of Man Festival, due to take place on July 6 with performances from the likes of Primal Scream, Paloma Faith, Johnny Marr (pictured) and Wretch 32, has been cancelled, with organisers blaming poor ticket sales.

“It seems that the public on the Island weren’t quite ready to invest in [the] festival,” Chris Heyes of Rockingmann Festivals, said. “And for those travelling from the mainland and Ireland, the arrangements required for a weekend visit to the Isle Of Man for some reason were proving too much of an undertaking.”
