Just So, the family arts festival produced by Wild Rumpus, has revealed more of its programme of regional, national and international artists and performers.

Now in its eighth year, the weekend-long arts festival takes place 18-20 August, with new experiences added 2017.

New venues at the festival include the lakeside Silver Screen for cinema experiences at the festival, along with the Just So Film Quiz. Guests can expect to taste artisan food and drink at the Social Barn, and attend the Forgotten Courtyard for workshops and talks.

The programme also features events including the Spellbound Forest and the Woodland Theatre, Tales of Animalia and Away with the Fairies for a fairyland theme and the Village Green for the book tent.

Other events will be held at The Observatory, Weleda Peekaboo Garden, Jittabug, the Tribal Tournamount and the High Seas.

Rowan Hoban and Sarah Bird, directors of Wild Rumpus, commented: “Spending time together as a family, exploring the woods, venturing to the Lake at dawn, singing around the campfire, eating under the stars, dancing like wild things to incredible foot stomping bands and listening to stories that will fill us full of awe and wonder at the magical world around us. We can’t wait to share Just So 2017 with you soon.”
