Line-up round-up: Latitude and V-Festival reveal list

Hot on the heels of the Foo Fighters confirming their Glastonbury slot, Latitude – which celebrates its 10th year – and V Festival – in its 20th – have revealed their respective line-ups.

Latitude, which takes place in Suffolk from 16-19 July, will feature Mercury-prize winners Alt-J, Portishead and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. They will be joined throughout the weekend by Laura Marling, Lianne La Havas, Femi Kuti and James Blake. 

Further comedy and entertainment at Latitude will include Jack Dee, Gareth Malone, Manic Street Preachers and Simon Armitage.

V-Festival, meanwhile, has announced a high profile line-up including Kasabian and Calvin Harris. The headline acts will close the show on each night of the weekend summer festival in Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire, on 22-23 August.

Both festival sites will also welcome Sam Smith, Paloma Faith, James Bay, Ellie Goulding, Hozier, The Script, George Ezra, Stereophonics, Olly Murs, Chvrches, Kodaline and Ella Henderson.
