LION Trackhire were guests at Sir Richard Branson’s house in Oxfordshire for a conference and awards dinner.

The event celebrated the country’s top 100 fastest growing private companies as recognised by The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 organisation. Growth in export was on the agenda at the event, with keynotes and panel sessions from Matt Brittin (Google Earth), Richard Reed (Innocent) and Branson himself.

LION Trackhire was placed at number 26 on the list and was named runner-up for the Best Management Team award.

The company had a dual role at the event, as they also supplied trackway at Branson’s home.

“LION are investing heavily into export into Europe,” said Dale Robinson, managing director at LION. “I’m proud to say we’ve installed some brand new trackway for Sir Richard today, so the whole thing has been a huge success for us.”
