Two new spaces have been created at Lord’s Cricket Ground and a third has been refurbished as part of a £3.8m expansion project.

The Grand Stand, a conference space able to accommodate up to 100 people, will open on 11 April in time for the upcoming cricket season. The space includes a mezzanine level,  the Father Time Gallery, which can be used as a breakout space or a separate venue for networking events and drinks receptions.

The President’s Box, which is the renovated space, can accommodate dinners for up to 48 guests and has views over the cricket ground for guests to watch matches.

The £3.8m investment has seen a reconfiguration of the kitchens and toilets and the use of digital signage to improve communication across the venue.

Zoe Ward, MCC meetings and events sales manager, said: “The project has given us three new event spaces in readiness for the cricket season which enhance the already wide variety of flexible event spaces available at Lord’s.”
