New electronic music festival Lost Village has announced its first headline acts for the inaugural event this spring.

Four Tet, Jamie Jones and DJ Koze will join 4,500 festivalgoers over the Spring Bank Holiday (23-24 May) in an ‘eerie and secluded’ forest in Lincolnshire.

Lost Village is the first festival conceived by indie record label Moda Black, who represent Hot Since 82, Groove Armada, Eats Everything, Theo Kottis, Marco Faraone and Walker & Royce, among others.

Moda Black’s founders and Lost Village’s creators, DJs Jaymo and Andy George, will also perform at the festival.

“We always said that if we ever did a festival it would have to be in an amazing setting – it took a long time to find the right place,” they said.

The festival will take place in privately owned woodland in the Lincolnshire countryside, halfway between Newark and Lincoln. Lost Village hopes its attendees will explore the area, full of old cabins and dilapidated buildings, in between partying and dancing to the international house, techno, disco and electronica line-up.

“Lost Village was inspired by a fascination with old ruins and abandoned places,” Jaymo and Andy George continued. “Mixing that almost haunted woodland ambience with amazing music is going to make for a really special weekend-long party.”

Earlybird tickets for the first festival are already sold out, but more are on sale here.
