Mingle Music Agency has announced a one-day music conference for the South West’s music industry to celebrate its launch.

The new artist agency is headed by Marie Belsten and already has over 100 artists signed, including Ward Thomas (pictured), Will and The People, Harriet Jones and Gary Nock.

Industry panels and guest speakers are lined up for the launch event. Panel subjects include ‘Gigging and Touring’, ‘Building the Buzz’, ‘The Dream Team’, ‘Summer Festivals’ and ‘Finance and Funding.’ There will also be a song-writing workshop, as well as a workshop for young promoters, sponsored by the Arts Council-funded ‘Mapped Out’ tour network project.

The Mingle Music launch conference takes place on 17 April at Exeter Phoenix.
