Ragley Hall in Warwickshire will host a new festival entitled Festival of Flight on 1-2 October.

The two-day event will take the form of a family-friendly air show with displays from pilots from around the UK and Europe, including aerobatic displays and a WWII pyrotechnics display.

The event is organised by The Wrekin MFC, which also organises the International Model Air Show at Weston Park.

The festival will include a boating regatta, model car racing, Helifest model helicopter competition and display, a craft fair and fun fair for children.

There will also be a laser light and firework show on the night of 1 October.

Hilary Philpott, house manager at Ragley Hall, commented: “We are delighted to host another fantastic new festival at Ragley Hall. This unique event has something for everyone and the spectacular Saturday show is sure to provide a memorable evening for all the family.”
