London Union, the parent company of Street Feast, has launched a new outdoor space for the summer season at Hawker House.

The Canada Water-based venue has opened The Land of Bamboo to the Hawker House space, bringing the total capacity to 3,500.

The venue, which is available for hire for large-scale conferences, outdoor team buildings and summer parties, is open from May to September.

It is filled with sand pits, trampolines, tiki huts and a giant towering fire pit. Alongside this, six street food traders have been added, including Japanese katsu from Yu Kyu, meat-free Mexican tacos from Club Mexicana, American ribs and brisket from Smokestak and whisky chicken from Thai barbecue, Farang.

Emma Howe, sales director at London Union commented: “The Land of Bamboo is like nothing the UK event industry has ever seen. It’s a fantastic outdoor space with the added extra of having vast indoor space available. Whatever the weather, Hawker House and the Land of Bamboo are a great choice for event bookers.”

Street Feast are set for a summer of event bookings, recently launching Model Market in Lewisham for its third summer and removing the roof at Dinerama, Shoreditch.
