Victoria Warehouse is celebrating its most successful year to date with a 65 per cent increase in corporate bookings compared to 2014, alongside two new staff appointments.

Following the opening of its new event space, The Bays, Russ Dennison has joined as music, sport and entertainment sales manager where he will be responsible for developing existing relationships with clients including the World Pool Masters, The Whisky Sessions and Cup North.

He will also help build the profile of the venue by expanding the music offering and diversifying the type of events held at Victoria Warehouse.

Amy Toal has also joined the Mancunian venue as PR and marketing manager.

Previously at Emirates Old Trafford, Toal led on the venue and events marketing where she managed marketing campaigns for conferences, exhibitions, weddings and Christmas parties.

Kayleigh Brindle, director of sales at Victoria Warehouse, said: “We are delighted to welcome Russ and Amy to the team as we celebrate our most successful year for corporate event bookings. The 65 per cent increase in corporate bookings has led to the events team growing from one to six members this year and we have plans to increase this further in 2016 as the expansion project at the venue continues.

“Russ and Amy each have important attributes that will help ensure that going forward we are considered the go-to venue for corporate events in Manchester. We look forward to their contributions in the year ahead, as we look to build on our considerable success so far.”
