Make Events is keeping the lights on at Manchester’s newest attraction, Coronation Street The Tour.
 
The events company is the preferred supplier for the Quay Street venue, providing lighting, sound, entertainment and décor for events taking place there.
 
Coronation Street The Tour is open for six months and is available for hire. Companies can wine and dine their guests against the backdrop of the former set of the long-running drama.
 
“We are delighted to be working with what is a truly special venue,” said Holly Moore, MD of Make Events. “We are already working on and planning for a number of exciting events at the site. We understand the clients’ needs and appreciate that this is a working site that needs to be fully operational and open to the public every day.”
 
Although the Coronation Street set has moved to MediaCityUK in Manchester, plenty of treats await guests at Quay Street set. Visitors can walk down the familiar cobblestone streets, have their picture taken at the bar and learn about the more than 50 years of Corrie Steet filming history.
 
Coronation Street The Tour runs through 5 October 2014.
