The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) is set to host a briefing and networking event for members of the Scottish Events and Festivals Association (SEFA) on 8 May 2014.

The early evening event will include a networking drinks reception and is designed to deliver new insight to the business tourism sector in Edinburgh and Scotland.

Delegates will hear three different perspectives from EICC chief executive Hans H Rissmann OBE, Marketing Edinburgh chief executive John Donnelly and head of corporate events at Glasgow Science Centre Judy Rae.

SEFA launched in Scotland in May 2013, and estimates the Scottish events sector to be worth £1.5bn annually with business tourism accounting for around £800m towards this total.
