EPS Europe will supply services to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the first time.
The company's Hex-Road temporary roadway system will be installed on 6 May to create vehicular access to the world famous grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
With no plant machinery required, the organisers selected Hex-Road due to its ease of installation and uplift.
EPS Europe will be allowing the RHS's own team to install the product, with a single EPS Europe staff member supporting the process. As Hex-Road is laid by hand, this scenario would not be possible with traditional aluminium or steel trackway.
The Hex-Road will be installed on top of a geo-textile membrane, preventing the product from embedding itself into the ground and minimising any negative impact.
Speaking on the forthcoming project, EPS Europe's Jeremy Simpson said: The very nature of the event requires the ground to be presented in the best possible way. This means that organisers have to strike a fine balance between selecting products that will cope with the vehicular demands but not cause unnecessary damage to the ground. With Hex-Road they have been able to select a product that perfectly meets the requirements.
