Global self-service ticketing platform, Eventbrite, has expanded its UK presence with the opening of a new office in Manchester.
 
Leading marketing efforts in the Northwest, the firm has appointed Rakhi Sinha (pictured) as regional marketing manager at to drive the growth of live events in the region.
 
Sinha brings additional event expertise as the founder and director of Chorlton Bazaar, a quarterly event promoting independent designers, musicians and caterers from across the region.
 
“As a native and current resident of Manchester, I’m incredibly passionate about this city and the surrounding areas,” said Sinha. “There is a real ‘make it happen’ attitude in this city and I’m looking forward to fuelling that spirit with a company that mirrors this mentality and empowers people to come together through live experiences.”

The company’s first UK office is in London – Eventbrite’s third largest market after New York and San Francisco.
