ISES UK’s ‘Connects’ event will take place tonight (1 September) at Halle St Peters, Manchester, a new venue set to open this month.

Visitors to The Venue Expo in Manchester will be amongst the first to see inside the venue, where the International Special Event Society UK Chapter (ISES UK) will host its first regional networking event of the 2014/15 season, ISES Connects Manchester.

Taking place from 6-9pm, event professionals will join senior members of the ISES panel, including newly elected president Kelly Baker, to share their views and find out how the association can benefit them ahead of the official AGM next Monday 8 September at EGG, London.

Those interested in attending the free event can apply here.

Halle St Peters, a Grade II-listed deconsecrated church, received a multi-million pound refurbishment that transformed it into a flexible space for parties, corporate events, meetings and receptions for up to 230 guests.

“We are giving event professionals in the North a unique insight into this incredible venue, alongside a great evening of networking,” Baker said. “Located in the centre of Manchester, it is sure to be a popular choice for organisers wanting to wow audiences with its dramatic architecture and atmospheric setting.

“ISES Connects Manchester is the first regional event of our calendar year and we have more planned throughout the lengths and breaths of the UK so all event professionals, no matter where they are based, can be fully engaged.”
