Just So Festival has announced its biggest programme to date to celebrate its sixth year.
The Cheshire-based family festival will take on a travel theme for 2015, with a mix of local, regional, national and international artists and performers booked to attend.
The three-time Festival Kidz Gold Award-winning festival, produced by Wild Rumpus (The Lost Carnival, The Forge), will take place from 21-23 August.
Acrobats Bambolino and Dodo are confirmed, along with navigators Pif-Paf, live action battleships, cardboard castle dens, and a midnight feast. Spain's Argo theatre will perform, and gypsy music from Galleon Blast and the Perhaps Contraption will join them.
Not only do we put families at the heart of our programming, hoping that they will shake off the constraints of everyday life and engage in incredible art for the weekend, said co-director Sarah Bird, but we work year round with established and existing artists to build up the body of work that is being made for families in the wild.
Wild Rumpus recently received Arts Council England funding to develop their year-round woodland creation space by supporting artists and emerging creatives with an interest in outdoor arts.
