Event production supplier mclcreate is expanding its base in Birmingham to house its exhibitions division.
 
The new unit on Catesby Park, in Kings Norton occupies 2,044sqm of space and features “state-of-the-art” facilities for the company’s staff and exhibition inventory including audio-visual equipment, interactive technology and scenic solutions.
 
“These new premises and facilities will enable us to handle larger projects and ensure more efficient delivery for our clients,” said general manager Richard Wathen.
 
“Our reputation for servicing exhibitions, along with the size and customised facilities at the new premises, places us in a strong position within the industry.”
 
The exhibitions team regularly manages large-scale shows for companies such as UBM and i2i, and works at venues including Excel London and the Ricoh Arena.
 
Among its recent projects at The NEC were the Photography Show and Spring Fair International.
