OneBigStar partnered with Accept Management to provide full technical production across eight sites at Aintree Racecourse for last week's Crabbie's Grand National Festival.
Music acts including The Christians, X Factor star Jack Quickenden, and The Stars performed throughout the festival's three days.
OneBigStar supplied a full festival stage complete with a sound and lighting package, including an Electro-Voice XLC line array.
The company also built a covered outdoor stage in the Steeplechase enclosure, a full DJ set up and risers for BBC Radio 2's Sarah Cox to perform on in the Red Rum Garden, sound equipment for the Mot bar in the Band Stand, and sound systems for the Golden Miller, Sunloch, Papillon, and Early Mist restaurants.
The entertainment and production requirements for the Grand National vary from intimate set ups in hospitality through to small stages on the Steeplechase Embankment and at the Mot & Chandon bandstand, right up to full concert production in the International Aintree Equestrian Centre, so we knew we needed a supplier who would be equally happy in all those arenas, said Accept Management's directors Harriet Robson and Tom Wright.
OneBigStar's production director Steve Yeardsley added: We worked closely with Accept Management to ensure that all aspects of the technical production were taken care of, whether that was a small sound system in the restaurant, to a full stage, sound and lighting package in the International Aintree Equestrian Centre.
Both companies will return to Aintree to work together on Summer Nights: Sounds of the 90s' on 15 May.
