The Scottish Events and Festivals Association (SEFA) is providing a course for those who work in crowd management, venue management, event safety and security or those who deliver public or private events.
Ahead of the summer festivals programme, SEFA is running a decision-making and crisis management course.
The course runs from 25 to 26 May 2015 at The Scottish Police College, Tulliallan Castle. It will be delivered using the interactive Hydra suite where those taking part will have exposure to and receive information on a major incident and have the opportunity to make decisions in real time.
Chris Lawson, Mclcreate and acting chair of SEFA said: “This course is a must for those involved in organising festivals and large events. Studying the theory of crowd management is one thing, putting into practise is another thing entirely. This course allows this to happen using the Hydra suite. It’s a great a course and delivered by one of the industries most respected lecturers, professor Chris Kemp.”
