Events agency Sledge has hosted its second Bounce Festival, increasing attendance by 1,000 visitors on 2013 to around 8,000.

Sledge’s family-focused event launched last year as part of ‘Sledge Presents’, the agency’s internal ‘think tank’ division.

Sledge describes the event as a hands on, experiential-led family day out rooted in education. This year, the event included expanded workshops, partnerships and activities.

Hosted by Nickelodeon star Anna Williamson, the festival ran from the 16-17 August in Old Deer Park, Richmond, with five zones and a main stage, all featuring activities for children aged six to 12.

Daredevil Science star Greg Foot held chemistry-orientated activities while Great British Bake Off‘s Cat Dresser taught visitors about recipes.

Other attractions included stunt uni-cycling, fencing, an assault course, craft, sheep shearing, bush tucker trials and a petting zoo.

Performances at the event came from Nick Jr stars Go! Go! Go!, urban dance crew Boy Blue and The Odd Doll Puppet Theatre.

Elsewhere, BMW presented their current activation ‘The 2 Series Active Tourer Picnic Spot’.

For the younger festivalgoers, family favourite Peppa Pig and her brother George came along for personal meet and greets in the Little Bouncers zone.

Sledge works with brands including Nivea, Fairy Liquid and BBC Learning.
