Ticketmaster, a Live Nation Entertainment company, has been appointed as the new international ticketing and resale partner for Spanish festival, Benicassim.

The festival, which takes place in July every year in Benicàssim (Castellón), has signed the multi-year agreement which will see Ticketmaster provide ticketing services and marketing support across the ticket agent’s 13 different European markets as well as providing the official resale platform.

Ticketmaster will be working with Benicassim to grow the festival audience both within Spain and across other core markets in Europe and beyond.

Benicassim director Melvin Benn said: “Benicassim grows in popularity every year and we are excited to be working with a ticket agent that can handle the current demand, as well as helping us to grow our brand and event. Benicassim truly is an international festival, with many of our fans coming from across the world so it is a big advantage to be able to work with a ticketing agent who has huge international distribution and reach.”

Ticketmaster International president Mark Yovich said: “We are very pleased to be working with the team at Benicassim. As the world’s leading ticket agent, we have the resources and expertise to help Benicassim achieve their ticketing objectives, helping them to market their festival to more fans than ever before.”
