The World Architecture Festival (WAF) will become part of content and subscription business Emap’s Architecture brand portfolio.

Top Right Group (TRG) announced the move today. The award-winning event – which celebrates and shares architectural excellence among international delegates – was until recently held by i2i Events Group.

“My team and I are extremely excited by the opportunities that bringing WAF back to Emap presents,” said Emap managing director, architecture. “The move marks an important milestone for Emap and we are looking forward to further strengthening and growing this incredible brand.”

Emap’s Architecture portfolio also includes The Architectural Review (AR) and the Architect’s Journal (AJ). 

“WAF has always had a close relationship with Architectural Review and Architects’ Journal, and we are delighted to be joining them at EMAP,” said WAF program director Paul Finch. “We look forward to further expansion working with a great team.”
