The nominations have been unveiled for this year’s UK Festival Awards 2013, with the ceremony taking place on 2 December, at The Roundhouse in London.

The UK Festival Awards, which aim to highlight the achievements of the festival sector, has 13 award categories from Best Major Festival to Best Festival Toilets.

The winners of the awards will be chosen by public vote. However, a panel of experts in the relevant sector will vote for additional industry-focused categories including Best Line-Up, Agency of the Year, and Concession of the Year.

“We’ve seen one of the most vibrant seasons in 2013, line-ups have featured a huge number of must-see and incredible new acts,” said UK Festival Awards Director James Drury. “Again we’ve beaten the record of votes cast with 575,000 received this year and we can’t wait to reveal the favourites of the festival-going public.”
