AEG Live will put the North East’s biggest pop show into Sunderland’s Stadium of Light this summer.

Headlined by boy band JLS, pictured, with Rita Ora and Conor Maynard, The Wanted and Amelia Lily on the bill, North East Live will take place on Saturday 22 June.

“We hope [it] will become a permanent fixture in the Stadium of Light calendar,” Rob Hallet, president of touring at AEG Live, said.

“We would like to thank Sunderland AFC and its
board of directors, the city council and all regional
partners for making this event possible.”
