The Olympic Stadium in London will host five games at the 2015 Rugby World Cup. 

Eight football grounds, including Wembley, St James’ Park, Elland Road, the Etihad and Villa Park are also in the mix.

The opening match of the 20-team event is at Twickenham, with hosts England taking on the winner of the Oceania qualifying competition. 

Organisers must sell 2.9m tickets to cover the £80m guarantee owed to the International Rugby Board.
