The Business Visits & Events Partnership (BVEP) is welcoming its newest member, the Production Services Association (PSA).

PSA represents the live events production industry and joins the 30-strong BVEP. The partnership’s reach and influence now extends into a wide range of UK production companies across the outdoor and indoor events industry.

“The PSA is the largest representative body solely focused on the UK technical event production sector, with 1,400 members working across the whole spectrum of live events; from conferences to major festivals,” said PSA general manager Andy Lenthall (pictured).

“Becoming a partner of the BVEP ensures that this crucial element of Britain’s events industry gets the recognition it deserves and, in turn, plays its part in ensuring the health of this vital sector,” he added.

BVEP chair Michael Hirst welcomed PSA to the partnership. “Their addition to our ranks represents an important sector to the organization,” he said. “We are always looking to expand and strengthen our ties within the industry and this is certainly another move in the right direction as we hope to welcomemore representative bodies within production to the partnership over the coming months.”

The BVEP is currently participating in the International Festival for Business in Liverpool.
