Stage One, manufacturer of the London 2012 Olympic Cauldron, was presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise this month, in the Continuous Innovation category.

Lord Crathorne, Lord Lieutenant of North Yorkshire, presented the award at the company’s manufacturing centre in Tockwith. The Mayor of Harrogate, Michael Newby, and Piers Shepperd, technical director for the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, were in the audience.
