Question Time broadcast a special live programme last night (16 April) from east London venue, Troxy.

Host David Dimbleby presented a live discussion with panellists Grant Shapps, Yvette Cooper, Angus Robertson, Jo Swinson, Douglas Carswell, and Piers Morgan.

The live edition of the BBC One political debate programme followed the broadcast of the Leaders Debate.

The production took over the entire venue, filming from Troxy’s Grand Hall with nine backstage dressing rooms and larger breakout rooms also used.

Daniel Smith, business development manager at Troxy, said: “We’ve worked with the BBC Question Time team before, but this was our first live encounter.”

Preparations for the set began the day before the production moved in, with lighting and rigging teams working ahead of Question Time’s rehearsals.
