Arena Group installed its new roof system, on behalf of Rapier, for the Renault stand at Goodwood Festival of Speed, June 25 – 28, 2015.

Rapier contracted Arena Structures to construct the Renault structure, which housed a presentation of a selection of motorsport models within the Moving Motorshow element of the festival.

Arena Structures’ account director Simon Marsh took the clients designs and produced the 11m high, 20×20 metre structure, delivered on site by project managers Stuart Wood and Ben Sly.

Showcasing Renault’s cars in an open fronted welcoming environment, the structure featured a four metre high, 150sqm mezzanine on the front of the stand, with split levels, giant screens built into the walls, all to stunning effect.

Arena Group UK & Europe CEO Grahame Muir said: “Incorporating this spaceframe roof into our inventory has allowed us to expand the creative possibilities we offer clients in temporary structures. This system means we can achieve wider spans without central support or additional bracing.”

Sister company Arena Seating supplied Festival of Speed for 13 years, this year installing 14 temporary covered tiered grandstands giving spectators great views of the huge range of cars and bikes being pushed to their limits on the track.
